About the Office of the Ombuds

“When should I make an appointment to talk with the Ombuds?”  This is a common question, without an easy answer.  Perhaps the shortest and best answer is any time that feels right to the individual given the specifics of the situation.  I talk with students at every stage of a conflict, and there can be much gained from a conversation at any point along the way.

Here are some examples of issues students bring forward to the Office of the Student Ombuds. These are common issues but in no way a definitive list. The reality is that students come with all sorts of issues and concerns, so ANY issue is a good one to come talk about.
